I'm Lukas Scott, a designer and developer in Franklin, Tennessee. I design websites for architecture studios and build them myself, in production code.
Architecture studios. A studio's work is light, material and proportion, and most studio sites flatten it into a grid of thumbnails with a contact form. I build sites that show the work the way the studio sees it, and that make the right client want to start a conversation.
I design and build in the same hands, so nothing is lost between a mockup and the site. Every project moves through the same stages, and none starts before the last one is approved:
I build in Next.js, with GSAP for motion, Lenis for scroll, and WebGL where the work earns it. Every decision is written down with its reason. Those notes are where pages like this one come from.
Between projects I publish studies: a shader lab, an animation library and concept sites. Each one has a field note like this, with the reasoning, the code and what went wrong.
If you run a studio and your site doesn't show your work the way you see it, book a call below.
